A tragic accident in Apihimal Rural Municipality-6 has claimed the life of a headmaster who fell from a cliff while returning home from school.
Dalbir Mahara, aged 35, the headmaster of Bhawani Basic School, died on Friday after falling from a cliff, according to Bhaktasingh Thekare, chair of Apihimal Rural Municipality. Mahara, who hailed from Marma Rural Municipality-2, was returning home from school when the accident occurred.
“Mahara fell approximately 150 meters from the cliff and died instantly at the scene,” Thekare said.
Mahara is survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters.
Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
