The ruling CPN (Maoist Centre) has nominated Janak Budha as the party’s candidate to contest the by-election in Bajhang (A) provincial assembly seat.
The Maoist Centre’s district committee recommended Budha, who is also the party’s province committee secretary, unanimously for the upcoming by-election slated on April 27. Budha earlier served as a Constituent Assembly member as well.
The CPN-UML decided to field Daman Bhandari as the party’s candidate for the seat, while the CPN (Unified Socialist) has named Dil Bahadur Singh as its candidate.
The Nepali Congress is yet to decide the party’s by-election candidate.
