The body of Lokendra Shahi, who had gone missing after jumping off the Karnali bridge on Monday, was found in Tikapur on Thursday.

According to Shivaraj Joshi, information officer at the District Administration Office, Shahi’s body was recovered from Sanakatti Ghat at ward 2 of Tikapur Municipality.

The victim was among 17 youths who had jumped into the Karnali river following Holi celebrations on Monday. They had allegedly told the security personnel that they would take photographs on the bridge.
