Two arrested with goods smuggled from India

Rautahat police on Monday night arrested two individuals with goods smuggled from India. The duo, along with the seized goods, was made public on Tuesday.
A patrol team from Badharwa Police Post detained Kishori Chaudhary Kalwar and Naresh Sah Teli of ward 5 in Durga Bhagwati Rural Municipality from near the Bagmati River on Monday night.
They were caught smuggling textiles on Indian motorcycles, according to Police Inspector Uma Shankar Gupta of the District Police Office, Rautahat. “Investigations are underway to identify the smuggling network,” Gupta said.
