Three dead, 17 injured as bus rams into parked truck

At least three people died, and 17 others were injured when a bus rammed into a parked truck at Bagmati Municipality-1 in the Sarlahi district along the East-West Highway on Thursday morning.
The bus, travelling from Bhairahawa to Janakpur, collided with an Indian cargo truck parked on the side of the road.
According to the police, three men from Rupandehi died in the accident.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Shrestha said the injured are receiving treatment at various hospitals. The bus driver is currently under police custody.
