A decomposing body of a woman has been recovered in a mango orchard in ward 4 of Dhanauji Rural Municipality in Dhanusha.
The local people had informed the police on Tuesday after they saw the body covered with straw. A police team reached the site and took the body to the provincial hospital in Janakpur for postmortem.
“Further information is going on into the incident with the help of a sniffer dog,” said Superintendent of Police Mitra Bandhu Sharma.
