Police arrest ex-minister Bikram Pandey

Police have arrested former minister Bikram Pandey in connection with a case involving the hacking of the public procurement system and alleged manipulation of tender details.
Pandey is also a senior leader and vice-chair of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) took Pandey into custody as part of its ongoing investigation, officials said.
Additional Inspector General Manoj KC, CIB chief, confirmed the arrest.
Police had earlier detained six individuals in connection with the case.
