Police arrested 24-year-old Ram Krishna Dahal on Wednesday for allegedly defrauding a victim by promising to send them to the UK for work.
According to the victim’s complaint, Dahal took Rs3.15 million and went out of contact. Acting on the complaint, a police team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku, apprehended Dahal from his residence in Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-8, Kathmandu.
Dahal has been transferred to the Kathmandu District Police Range Bhadrakali for further investigation and legal action.
