A 65-year-old farmer died after being attacked by a rhino in Madhyabindu Municipality Ward 6 on Saturday morning, the District Police Office reported.
The victim, identified as Nathuram Tharu, was reportedly working in the field when the attack occurred.
Locals have expressed growing concerns over the escalating human-wildlife conflict in the region, as such incidents have become increasingly common.
