Flights resumed at Simikot Airport in Humla on Monday after a three-day break due to a lack of passengers.
According to Simikot airport chief Chhiring Lama, Tara Air operated one flight while Nepal Airlines conducted two. The flights also transported daily goods and construction materials.
Lama said tickets for Tuesday are fully booked, with the number of passengers expected to increase. He said that more people are leaving Humla than entering the district.
Sita Air and Summit Air did not operate any flights on Monday, according to the Simikot Airport Office.
