Nepal Oil Corporation jacks up fuel prices
Petrol is now costlier by Rs2 per litre and diesel and kerosene by Rs5.

The Nepal Oil Corporation has increased petrol and diesel prices with effect from Sunday midnight.
The state-owned monopoly hiked the petrol price by Rs2 per litre and diesel and kerosene by Rs5 per litre.
Consumers now have to pay Rs167 per litre for petrol in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal.
They have to pay Rs166 for a litre of petrol in Surkhet and Dang and Rs164.50 in Charaali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj.
Likewise, a litre of diesel and kerosene will now cost Rs157 in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal; Rs156 in Surkhet and Dang; and Rs154.50 in Charaali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj.
