The death toll from the Makwanpur car accident rose to three on Wednesday evening as one of the injured individuals succumbed while undergoing treatment.

Police said two others who sustained serious injuries in the accident are currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Hetauda.

This afternoon, a child and a youth lost their lives on the spot in an accident in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-6. Additionally, a man who sustained serious injuries in the incident passed away while undergoing treatment this evening.

The mishap occurred when the car, en route to Hetauda from Kathmandu, veered off the road and plunged approximately 250 meters down.

According to the Makwanpur District Police Office, the identities of the deceased and injured have yet to be ascertained.
