Indian national arrested with 855 grams gold from TIA

Police arrested an Indian national with 855 grams of gold from the Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday.
According to the TIA security police office, Sarif Ahmed Abdul Gafur, 35, had landed in Kathmandu from Dubai through a flydubai flight with the gold concealed in three plastic bags.
Police were tipped off about his arrival in Kathmandu.
The recovered gold was sent to the customs office at the airport for further investigation.
