The Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday closed its runway for about 40 minutes after a Delhi-bound Air India flight faced a technical glitch on the ground.
All flights approaching the Kathmandu airport were kept on hold as the Indian aircraft experienced jammed landing gear while moving from the runway to the parking.
The airstrip was closed for about 40 minutes, from 4:20pm to 5:00pm, the airport authority said.
