Nepali folk singer Buddhi Krishna Lamichhane passed away at his home in Changunarayan Municipality-7, Bhaktapur on Friday. He was 63.
The singer was bed-ridden for long due to paralysis and other ailments. He was being treated for pneumonia of late, Lamichhane’s daughter said.
Some of his popular songs are ‘Pidi Ma Basera Merai Bato Herera and Ghansa Katne Khurkera among others’.
Lamichhane is survived by his spouse, two sons and three daughters.
