Nepali Congress leader Shashank Koirala has been elected to Federal Parliament from East Nawalparasi, constituency 1. He obtained 37,373 votes against left alliance candidate Bhabiswor Parajuli who got 32,846 votes.bookmark

Nepali Congress leader Shashank Koirala has been elected to Federal Parliament from East Nawalparasi, constituency 1. He obtained 37,373 votes against left alliance candidate Bhabiswor Parajuli who got 32,846 votes.
Similarly in constituency-2 of the same district, left alliance candidate has emerged victorious. Tilak Mahat of CPN-UML has been elected to Federal House against NC candidate Bishnu Kumar Karki with a margin of 1,333 votes.
