Properties worth around Rs 1.3 million were destroyed when a fire that broke out from an eatery spread to three adjacent shops at Naladobato in Banepa-8, Kavre, on Tuesday.
The District Police Office said that the fire had started due to a leakage in cooking gas cylinder in the kitchen of an eatery owned by one Kumar Shrestha. Police and locals doused the fire.
