A Nepal Army soldier shot dead his colleague while on duty at Ratna Temple on the bank of Phewa Lake, Pokhara.

Source said Lance Corporal Basanta Lohar of Darchula fired seven bullets to Ganesh Singh Bista of Baitadi due to a dispute at around 4:30 this morning.

Lohar has been detained while the body of Bista has been taken to a hospital. It has not been known which hospital Bista's body was taken to.

NA's Siddhibaksh Batallion has been providing security to the hospital. Details of the incidents have not been divulged.
