Property worth Rs 1.3 million was gutted when a fire broke out from an eatery and spread to nearby shops at Naladobato in Banepa-8, Kavre.
Police said the fire broke out at the eatery owned by Kumar Shrestha due to leakage of cooking gas. The fire spread to a nearby cloth store, tailoring center and a hotel.
Police with help from locals have doused the fire. The damage caused on the four shops has been estimated at Rs 1.3 million.
