Sunsari
Sunsari has been one of the most flood-affected districts this year. Large area of the district, particularly south of the East West Highway, was inundated when heavy rainfall lashed the area. Settlements were gushed with floodwaters when Tegraha, Budhikhola, Sunsari Khola, Sehara Khola and other rivers were flooded due to heavy rainfall. In Itahari sub-metropolitan city alone, eight persons have died and six more have gone missing. Now with sun coming out and level of floodwater decreasing, people have started to clean the mess brought by the floods. Here are some of the photos by Binay Rajbanshi in the aftermath of floods.
