Two persons have been swept away at separate places of Chitwan district.
Guman Kumari Rana Magar of Rapti Municipality-7 was swept away by Pampaal River in Khurkhure. Similarly, Kamal Bahadur Chepang, 23, was swept by Barbang River in Ichakamana Rural Municipality-3. Chepan's body was found some 200 meters downstream, informed SP Dipak Thapa.
Landslides triggered by incessant rainfall have blocked Munglin-Narayanghat road section at multiple places. Traffic has not resumed since Saturday afternoon.
