The three-day training kicked off in Kathmandu on Sunday.
The NRA move follows complaints from the earthquake survivors on segregation of beneficiaries based on several criteria.
The resurveying of houses will begin on August 10, the authority has announced.
The training is being conducted in two phases. In the first phase, a total of 168 engineers will undergo training before being deployed in eight districts—Okhaldhunga, Ramechhap, Dolkha, Sindhupalchok, Kavrepala-nchok, Nuwakot, Rasuwa and Gorkha.
The second phase of training begins on Thursday, with the involvement of 164 engineers to be deployed in six districts-Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Sindhuli, Makwanpur and Dhading. The process of resurvey in these districts will begin from August 14.
Inaugurating the training session, NRA Member Secretary Sarbajit Prasad Mahato directed the engineers to complete the task of resurveying house on time.
NRA Executive Committee Member Hari Ram Parajuli urged the engineers to minimise errors.
The authority has aimed to complete the process by September 16. A total of 81,082 households in 14 districts will be authenticated, while 52,278 households will be resurveyed under the programme.
A total of 133,360 households will be surveyed.
Among the grievances registered in the past, 39,097 came from households over grant and 13,565 over retrofitting, according to the NRA. Sindhuli, Makawanpur, Kavrepalanchok and Dolakha have the highest number of beneficiaries to be re-surveyed, while the numbers in Rasuwa, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur are relatively low.
A total of 207,500 quake survivors from 14 districts have lodged complaints.
The NRA said it would come out with the actual number of beneficiaries by mid-October.
The data collected through fresh survey will be uploaded to the central server for a thorough analysis.
Meanwhile, the authority has stated that it has deputed local social mobilisers and engineers to carry out the resurvey in coordination with newly elected local
representatives.
It has appealed the people in affected districts, local representatives, political parties and other related agencies for help in making this campaign a success.
