A newly elected ward member died after slipping off a tree here on Thursday afternoon.
Fifty-three- year-old Meghlal Pun, a member of of Sisne rural municipality-8 of Province no 5, died after falling off the tree, police said.
He was foraging for leaves on a tree near his residence for livestock when the incident took place. He died at around 11 pm on the way to Nepalgunj for treatment. RSS
