Two persons have been missing after they were swept away by floods in southern border region in Nawalparasi district.

Two persons have been missing after they were swept away by floods in southern border region in Nawalparasi district.
According to Nawalparasi District Police Office, 11-year-old Krishna Gupta and Brijlal Gupta, 60, were swept away by swollen Jharahi rivulet in Palhinandan Rural Municipality at around 10 am on Friday.
Police said they have been searching for the missing people. Around a dozen villages in the bordering region of Nawalparasi have been inundated by floods.
