Two unidentified persons opened fire at a businessperson in Manigram of Tilottama Municipality, Rupandehi on Friday.
According to the police, the assailants, who came on a motorcycle at around 12 pm this afternoon, fired two rounds of bullet at Durga Lal Bhandari, operator of Shreesha Marble business.
Rupandehi District Police Office DSP Del Bahadur Pandey informed that Bhandari escaped unscathed during the attack as the bullet missed the target and hit the marble at the shop. He further informed that investigation is underway regarding the attack.
