Road networks in Myagdi disrupted after landslides

Vehicular movement to and from Myagdi district headquarters Beni has been disrupted after landslides blocked all the connecting roads.
Traffice along the Beni-Jomsom-Korala road has come to a grinding halt after multiple landslides in the 41-kilometer Beni-Ghasa section, district police informed. The 24-kilometer Beni-Darbang road section has also been obstructed after landslides at Faparkhet and Lampata.
Rural roads along the Beni-Pakhapani, Bhamkili, Kuhu, Galeshwor-Bhagwati, Pokhare-Shikha, Mahabhir-Ramche have also been obstructed by landslides and swollen streams.
DSP Basundhara Khadka continuous rainfall has also obstructed clearing landslide debris from the roads. "If raining stops, traffic may resume by Friday," DSP Khadka said.
