38 injured in Kavre bus crash

At least 38 persons were injured when a passenger bus fell 20 meters below the Araniko highway at Tinpiple area of Paanchkhal Municipality on Sunday. Condition of four of the the injured is reported to be serious.
The bus (Ba 2 Kha 6441) en route to Kartike Deurali from Kathmandu veered out of control and crashed, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Navin Raj Rai of District Police Office, Dhulikhel.
Most of the injured passengers are being treated at Dhulikhel hospital. The bus driver fled the scene following the accident.
There were 45 passengers on board when the bus met with the accident.
