5 killed, 30 injured in Muktinath bus accident

At least five persons died and 30 others were injured when a bus carrying pilgrims turned turtle at Bahragaun Muktichhetra village council-4 on Saturday.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be established.
The bus (Na Pa Cha 6067) heading towards Jomsom from Muktinath Temple met with an accident at around 12 pm.
According to the District Police Office, the number of passengers travelling in the bus is not known.
A Nepal Army chopper has been called to airlift the injured ones to Kathmandu.
Police said that some of the victims are receiving treatment at the District Hospital, Jomsom.
The incident site is 23 km north from Jomsom.
