Yoga guru Swami Ramdev offered prayers at Chinnamasta Bhagwati Temple in Saptari district on Saturday.

On the occasion, Ramdev also delivered a discourse on yoga to hundreds of people present in the temple. He also urged to stop the sacrifice of animals at the temple and instead sacrifice the ego from one's mind and body.

Large number of his followers from various villages and also from bordering Indian areas had arrived at the temple to welcome the yoga guru.

Saptari SP misbehaves journalists

Saptari SP Diwesh Lohani misbehaved with Nepali media persons during the programme at the temple.

SP Lohani also barred Nepali media persons from entering the temple to take pictures of yoga guru Ramdev. He also assaulted journalists at the occasion.

 Around a dozen Indian journalists were allowed entry without any obstruction.

Saptari chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists has condemned SP Lohani's misbehave towards the journalist. The district chapter of journalists umbrella organization issued a statement and demanded the transfer of SP Lohani and warned of strong protest if demands were not met.

SP Lohani was transferred to Saptari district only on Friday.
