A girl was killed when lightning struck her in Katari Municipality-11 in Udayapur on Wednesday morning.
Local resident Sangita Shrestha, 23, injured in the incident, breathed her last on the way to Katari Hospital, police said.
Shrestha was playing with her mobile phone at the doorway of her house when the incident occurred, local people said.
Likewise, Asmita BK, 13, of Katari Municipality-10 was injured when lightning hit her this morning.
BK, a fifth grader at local school, undergoing treatment at Katari Hospital is said to be in serious condition. RSS
