Nepali Congress Acting President Ram Chandra Poudel has registered his candidacy for the post of party president.

Poudel registered the candidacy along with his panel— Shashank Koirala as General Secretary and Sita Devi Yadav as treasurer—at Sanepa-based party office on Friday.

NC General Secretary Prakash Man Singh proposed the candidacy of Poudel and seconded by Sujata Koirala, Ram Sharan Mahat, Padma Narayan Chaudhary among seven other leaders.
