Almost all the families of Thihi village in eastern Sindhupalchok have been living in temporary shelters made of zinc sheets and rag.


More than 15 children in the village are suffering from fever due to cold, locals said. But they are yet to get medical treatment. Children can be seen in lack of adequate clothes for winter.
Ninety percent of the houses in Thihi belonging to Thami and BK families are in ruins due to earthquake. Among others, there are 50 Thami and12 Dalit families altogether.
