Gold price rises by Rs2,300 per tola

The gold price increased in the domestic market on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold rose by Rs2,300 per tola (11.663 grams), taking it to Rs305,800 per tola.
On Friday, the last trading day of the previous week, gold was traded at Rs303,500 per tola.
Meanwhile, the silver price saw a slight decline. Silver, which was traded at Rs5,000 per tola on Friday, fell by Rs15 to Rs4,985 per tola on Sunday, the federation said.
