Nepse extends losing streak on Monday
Out of the traded companies, 112 declined while 42 advanced on the second trading day of week.bookmark

The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index continued its downward trend on Monday, the second trading day of the week, shedding 26.05 points to close at 2,672.39.
The benchmark index fell by nearly one percent compared to Sunday.
Of the companies traded on the day, the share prices of 42 companies increased, while 112 declined. Prices of six companies remained unchanged.
A total of 26,766,347 shares were traded through 102,081 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs10.77 billion.
The trading volume declined compared to Sunday, when the market had recorded a turnover of Rs 11.65 billion.
Among the 13 sub-indices traded on Monday, all declined except the trading sub-group, collectively pulling the benchmark index down by 26 points.
