Batas MAW opens new Eicher 3S facility in Itahari

Batas MAW Commercial Vehicles has inaugurated a new Eicher 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) facility at Titriban in Ramdhuni Municipality, Sunsari, expanding its Volvo Eicher network and strengthening after-sales services in eastern Nepal.
The facility was formally opened on February 4, marking a key step in the company’s efforts to improve access to commercial vehicle sales and support services along one of the region’s major logistics corridors.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Tara Thapa, deputy mayor of Ramdhuni Municipality, Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, chairman of MAW Group, Shanta Raj Batas, managing director of Batas MAW Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd and Aman Arora, senior vice president of VE Commercial Vehicles, along with representatives from business associations, banks, automobile bodies, customers and business partners.
Addressing the programme, Hemant Puranik, vice president of MAW Enterprises, said that the new 3S facility reflects the company’s long-term commitment to customers in the Itahari region by offering professional after-sales service and a better ownership experience. He also introduced the local team and outlined the services available at the facility.
The dealership is equipped with trained technicians, advanced diagnostic tools and a fully stocked spare parts centre, aimed at reducing service time and improving vehicle uptime for transport operators.
Along with the formal inauguration, the event featured the vehicle showcase and networking session involving industry stakeholders and customers.
