Nepse slips 6.55 points as selling pressure continues
Market turnover reaches Rs5.14 billion with over 69,000 transactions recorded.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) dropped by 6.55 points on Thursday, closing at 2,719.77, as the market extended its losing streak for the third straight session.
The benchmark index shed 0.24 percent, following declines of 19.89 points on Tuesday and 15.64 points on Wednesday.
A total of 69,024 transactions were carried out during the session, generating a turnover of Rs5.14 billion. Out of the traded companies, share prices of 85 advanced, 165 declined, while one remained unchanged.
Among the sub-indices, only trading and mutual funds managed to stay in positive territory. The trading group gained 23.46 points, while mutual funds edged up by 0.02 percent. All other sectors, including life insurance, hotels and tourism, development banks, and manufacturing and processing, ended lower.
