Nabil Bank Limited celebrated its 42nd anniversary on Sunday, reaffirming its commitment to its "Banking and Beyond" philosophy aimed at fostering an inclusive, sustainable, and intelligent future for customers, communities, and the national economy.
Speaking at the event, chairman Nirvana Kumar Chaudhary said trust has remained the cornerstone of the bank's success over the past four decades.
“For forty-two years, trust has remained at the very heart of Nabil Bank—earned continuously from millions of customers, shareholders, regulators, partners, and dedicated staff members,” he said. “This trust has been our greatest asset, and it will continue to be the foundation of our future.”
Chaudhary said Nepal has undergone significant economic and technological transformation during the bank's journey, adding that Nabil has consistently led change rather than merely responding to it.
Chief Executive Officer Manoj Kumar Gyawali said the anniversary marks not only a milestone but also a renewed commitment to innovation and long-term value creation.
“As we celebrate this milestone, we also look ahead with confidence, innovation, and a renewed commitment to creating lasting value for our customers and the nation,” Gyawali said. “We are not just an institution that provides banking services; we are a reliable partner that supports our customers on their journey of dreams, possibilities, and success. This is exactly what we mean by ‘Banking and Beyond.’”
