Nepse climbs by 30.76 points as turnover nears Rs18.53 billion
Shares of 76 companies advanced while 74 declined; three firms hit upper circuit limit.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) Index rose by 30.76 points on Tuesday, closing at 3,002.07. This marks a 1.03 percent increase, reversing Sunday’s fall of 18.44 points and building on Monday’s modest 7-point gain.
Investor confidence appeared to rebound, with 76 companies seeing gains in their share prices, while 74 recorded losses. The trading day saw heightened activity, with 41.80 million shares changing hands over 157,525 transactions, resulting in a total turnover of Rs18.53 billion.
Muktinath Krishi Company, Trade Tower Ltd, and Sanvi Energy Ltd hit the 10 percent daily limit, triggering circuit breakers amid strong demand.
Despite the market’s upward momentum, development banks, finance, and trading sub-indices posted declines. All other subgroups ended in positive territory.
