Gold and silver prices dip in local market

Prices of gold and silver fell slightly in the local market on Thursday. Gold dropped by Rs2,900 per tola (11.663 grams), while silver fell by Rs100 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of fine gold is Rs285,600 per tola today, while silver is priced at Rs4,820 per tola.
On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs288,500 per tola, while silver remained at Rs4,820 per tola.
Internationally, gold is trading at USD5,170 per ounce and silver at USD85 per ounce, according to global media reports.
