The fourth edition of Tech X 2024, a major technology exhibition, is scheduled to begin on Tuesday in Kathmandu to showcase cutting-edge projects in Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, and cyber security, all created by Softwarica College students.
The six-day event will highlight robotic dogs, AI robots designed for library and airport management, and semi-automatic warehouse management technologies, according to the college statement.
A standout feature will be a special robot that is developed with an AI system to analyse password-cracking attempts by students. The exhibition will also feature over 30 innovative projects, such as the AI Robotic Teacher, Banking Robot, Tour Guide Robot, Robot Football, AI Assistant for Eye Hospital, Robotic Waiter, and Robot War.
Similarly, a significant event within the exhibition will be the launch of the 'Robot Warriors League 2024.' This league will see more than 40 robot battle bots built by the students representing different companies participating in a six-month-long ‘Robo Warriors League.’
“The primary objective of 'Tech X 2024' is to highlight recent radical changes in the IT field and discuss the role of IT students in developing essential life skills,” said Bigyan Shrestha, chairman of Softwarica College. With free entry, the exhibition is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors.
