A UAE-based Mashreq Bank celebrated the 10^th anniversary of its establishment in Nepal amid a programme in Kathmandu on Tuesday. Mashreq Bank, through its representative office in Nepal, has been providing international banking products and services in Nepal. 

James Pearson, executive vice president of Mashreq Bank, said they have been serving in many countries where other banks are not present. 

“The key characteristic about our bank is that when you make a presence, we stay. We are not here today and gone tomorrow. The services we provide are important to all bankers,” he said. 

“We have been providing the US dollar clearance facility which is very important for the country’s payment business.”
