Swisscontact Nepal organised a panel discussion titled “Unlocking Investments in SMEs for inclusive economic growth” on Thursday. 

The discussion explored opportunities for stimulating investments for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) while analysing the hurdles that SMEs in Nepal face. 

The panellists included well-recognised names from the development and private sector. 

According to the press release sent by the company, the event was organised in the context that the growth of SMEs in Nepal has been slow due to structural and contextual challenges. 

While discussing the opportunities and challenges faced by SMEs, the panellists stated that one of the most significant challenges for SMEs in Nepal is securing the necessary finances for growth. (PR)
