Muktinath Cable Car project gets greenlight
The Investment Board of Nepal has approved the Muktinath Cable Car project to construct a cable car connecting Nayapul of Kaski to Muktinath of Mustang district. As per the proposal, the cable car will be built in five sections—Birethanti, Ghorepani, Tatopani, Jomsom to Muktinath.

The Investment Board of Nepal has approved the Muktinath Cable Car project to construct a cable car connecting Nayapul of Kaski to Muktinath of Mustang district. As per the proposal, the cable car will be built in five sections—Birethanti, Ghorepani, Tatopani, Jomsom to Muktinath.
The IBN Chief Executive Officer Maha Prasad Adhikari said they had provided the go-ahead to Muktinath Darshan Cable Car to conduct detailed project report of the project. According to him, the board approved the project after accepting the performance guarantee of Rs40 million.
