Samsung Electronics has expanded its best-selling Galaxy J series line-up by introducing the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max. It is priced at an introductory price of Rs28,290 and will be available in two colours, Black or Gold.
The power-packed smartphone will allow users to do a lot more with their Samsung devices as it now comes with innovative features like enhanced security with fingerprint sensor and face recognition, snappy performance and more, reads a press release.
“At Samsung, we listen to our consumers and bring out meaningful innovations that help enhance people’s lives. The Samsung J series holds the lion’s share of the mass-mid segment smartphone market and to further increase market share, we have launched the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max,” said Head of IM Biz at Samsung Nepal, Pranaya Ratna Sthapit.
Holding the Galaxy J7 Max might be a bit of a stretch for one handed operation as it has a 5.7” FHD TFT screen but that means that playing games and watching movies on the device will be an absolute treat, reads the press release. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor to unlock the device, sign in to websites, adding an extra layer of security. Face recognition is also supported on the device.
Under the hood of the Galaxy J7 Max lies a powerful 1.6 GHz octa-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and a whopping 3,300mAH battery. This power-packed device has a stylish metal unibody and is designed to optimise performance with impressive battery life for a smooth and enjoyable experience, reads the press release. The Galaxy J7 Max sports a 13 MP front camera with a bright f1.9 lens and an even brighter 13 MP camera with f1.7 lens on the rear. These camera features are more often seen on the more expensive flagship phones which enables users with the new J7 Max to take stunning low light photo and bright selfies even in dimly lit areas, reads the press release.
Apart from the nifty hardware encased in the Galaxy J7 Max, it also comes loaded with Samsung’s famed software features. The device has ‘Adaptive WIFI’ which activates automatically when in range of known wifi networks and deactivates once you’re out of it. This will save mobile data by connecting to wifi automatically, reads the press release.
Another software trick up the Galaxy J7 Max’s sleeve is ‘Smart Glow’ which provides smart and colourful notifications. There is also Samsung’s unique ‘Dual Messenger’ feature which allows one to use two instances of your favourite messenger app at once. This allows you to log in to different accounts and use them just like you would use two
different apps, reads the press release. There is also an underrated feature called ‘Instant Switching’ to hop between apps and the home screen with just a vertical swipe. For those who pick up the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, they will get a Nepal Telecom Data bundle which gives consumers 7GB free data (1GB data every month for 7 months) along with a free SIM card.
