A three-year-old girl died in a house fire at Tamti village in ward 7 of Tatopani Rural Municipality in Jumla district on Monday evening.
Police identified the deceased as Aroshi Rawat. The incident happened when a hut caught fire while the family was preparing a meal.
The charred body of the girl was recovered from the incident site. Detailed investigation is underway into the case, said police.
