A 20-year-old male worker from Kolhabi Rural Municipality, Bara, died while working at the under-construction Bailey Bridge in Sarkegad Rural Municipality in Humla district, on Wednesday. 

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhimlal Bhattarai of the District Police Office, the worker was seriously injured after falling off the bridge and was referred to Kolti Hospital in Bajura after receiving preliminary treatment at the local health post. 

The worker died on the way to the hospital, said Bhattarai.
