Nepal logs 10 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Tuesday reported 10 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,674.
All 1,345 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Tuesday, 5,603,173 PCR and 1,153,407 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,058 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,399 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 34 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 334.
Kathmandu Valley recorded seven new infections in the last 24 hours. All of them were confirmed in Kathmandu.
In the past 24 hours, seven new infections were recorded in Bagmati, one in Lumbini and two in Sudurpaschim.
On Tuesday, four individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another one was on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Monday reported nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday and nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday.
