Nepal logs 12 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,339 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 375.Post Report
Nepal on Sunday reported 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,665.
Similarly, one person tested positive in a total of 739 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Sunday, 5,596,515 PCR and 1,150,971 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,750 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,339 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 36 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 375.
Kathmandu Valley recorded three new infections in the last 24 hours. All of them were reported in Kathmandu.
In the past 24 hours, two new infections were recorded in Province 1, one in Madhesh, five in Bagmati and three in Gandaki.
On Sunday, nine individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another one was on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Saturday reported nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 14 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday and three new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday.
