Nepal logs four new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,204 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 479.Post Report
Nepal on Thursday reported three new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,634.
Similarly, one person tested positive in a total of 1,080 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Thursday, 5,588,749 PCR and 1,147,302 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,262 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,204 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 44 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 479.
Kathmandu Valley recorded one new infection–in Kathmandu–in the last 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, two new infections were recorded in Bagmati and one in Gandaki.
On Thursday, 12 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another one was on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Wednesday reported 15 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 23 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Tuesday and 22 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday.
