Nepal logs 26 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,111 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 554.Post Report
Nepal on Tuesday reported 23 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,616.
Similarly, three people tested positive in a total of 1,212 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 5,583,138 PCR and 1,144,856 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,866 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,111 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 37 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 554.
Kathmandu Valley recorded three new infections in the last 24 hours. Of them, two were recorded in Kathmandu and one in Lalitpur.
In the past 24 hours, three new infections were recorded in Province 1, three in Madhes Province, eight in Bagmati, five in Lumbini and four in Sudurpaschim.
On Tuesday, 11 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another one was on ventilator support in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Monday reported 22 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, three new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Sunday and 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday.
